Annet Mahendru

Mahendru, a Russian-Indian mother is born in Afghanistan. Mahendru speaks fluent German Russian English, French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru is the daughter of an Indian father as well as a Russian mother. A choreographed performance at age 11 which aired on German television, turned her into an Russian dancer, who became a snow maiden. She graduated from high school with a bachelor's diploma in English in New York. She took classes in acting at the HB Studios. She later went on to study improv comedy at the Groundlings School. Her parents were an Afghani Hindu Indian mother and a Russian father, who lived in Kabul in Afghanistan. The family moved from Afghanistan to East Meadow New York, along with her father, when she was 13, and is now starring alongside Matthew Rhys and Keri Russel on FX's The Americans. Television actress best known for her character as the an ex- KGB Agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova on FX's The Americans. She is known for her frequent appearances on Fox's The Following & NBC's The Blacklist.
